Your details will be treated with discretion and not be disclosed to anyone else.

No Risk

No material will be printed or published without first gaining your written approval - you will be given the opportunity to check all material for accuracy or request changes* While Business Cards Specials last, new clients will receive up to two hours of graphic design for only $25.00. (Further time charged at hourly rate). If the emailed proofs fail to meet your approval, simply cancel the order & there will be no charge. No risk! Top

All printing must be paid for in full prior to the project going to print.

Design projects
Generally, a 50% deposit will be required before commencement of a project, however on some larger projects, smaller, more frequent payments may be required. These will be negotiated at the time. The remainder of the agreed price is due on delivery of the project.

Written Communication projects
A deposit is required before commencement of any written communication project. Deposits will vary depending on the size and scope of the project. The remainder of the agreed price is due on delivery of the project.

Websites, E-Commerce Sites & Content Management Systems
A deposit is required before commencement of any digital design/development project. Deposits will vary depending on the size and scope of the project. The remainder of the agreed price is due on delivery of the project.

Quotes and Estimates

Larger Jobs and Websites
Quotes cannot be given on certain larger jobs and Websites due to the intangibles and uncertainty of expectations inherent in such projects. With these projects, an estimate will be given initially, and only when concrete, written specifications have been established can a quote be made. Large amounts of time are invested in such projects and the complexity can reveal significant differences in perception of expectations. There are often changes and additions made during the duration of the project. As a quote cannot adequately address these possibilities, estimates must be made.

Changes Policy

Changes to printed material.
Changes may be made to the design of printed material only up until written approval of the design has been received by Visual Distraction. A proof will be sent to the client prior to the material going to print and at this time the client is given the opportunity to check the details and request adjustments to the design if required.

As the basic design will have been established and agreed upon during the initial consultation, major changes should not often be needed. If changes are required because a client has changed his/her mind, further design will be charged at an hourly rate. Top

Website Design Policy

A consultation or series of consultaions will be used to establish the goals and details of the Website. A questionnaire will be worked through, and other details, and materials required for the construction of the Website will be gathered.

All design will be made on paper and details agreed upon before commencement of digital design or development.
Periodic consultation will be made between Visual Distraction and the Client during the design of all websites. The Client will be given the chance to review progress, advise on any adjustments required and sign-off on various stages as they are completed.

Changes to Websites
Once a website is completed to specification, all changes and/or updates to websites will be charged for at an hourly rate, unless a written maintenance agreement has been made in advance.

All prices are subject to change without notice. All quotes are valid for one month from date of receipt only.
